Short version: we can't leak what we never receive.

The keyword matcher is 100% browser-side

When you paste a resume and a job description into the free matcher, the analysis runs entirely inside your browser using JavaScript. No text is transmitted to us or to anyone else. There is no server-side copy, no database, no analytics on your pasted content, and no training data. Close the tab and it's gone.

The optional AI rewrite is different — and says so upfront

The optional "Rewrite my resume for this job" feature needs a language model, so when you click it (it is never automatic), the resume and job description you pasted are sent to our API and processed by DeepSeek. We use them only to produce your rewrite and to count your free-rewrite quota (a random device ID plus the request text); we do not build profiles, sell data, or train models on it. The free matcher above remains fully local — you never have to use the rewrite feature.

Accounts

TailorResume currently has no accounts and asks for no personal information. There is nothing to log in to and nothing to delete.

If paid features are added later

Paid tiers will add account-based billing (processed by our payment provider). This page will be updated before that ships, including what is stored, why, and how to delete it.
